GSK South America searches for high-level sales, marketing candidates.
Starting operations as GSK in January of 2001, GlaxoSmithKline was developed as a merger between healthcare giants GlaxoWellcome plc. and SmithKline Beecham plc. GSK is one of the world’s top science-led healthcare companies, researching and developing products for three primary areas: Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines, and Consumer Healthcare. Operating in over 150 Countries, GSK has over 100,000 employees and several locations throughout South America.
While expanding operations in South America, GSK set out to recruit candidates for career opportunities including Sales and Marketing directors and Customer Supply Chain managers. Inundated with applicants, GSK had difficulty finding time to keep up with interested candidates.
Over the course of 30 days, VRG partnered with GSK to conduct various market searches within South and Central America including Brazil, Costa Rica, Argentina, Colombia, and Dominican Republic. These searches yielded over 100 interested candidates sourced by the VRG team. In addition to the 800 applicants and resumes identified, the team was tasked with sorting through and qualifying interested and available candidates for the Sales, Marketing, and Managerial roles. Unqualified candidates for these roles were utilized for future pipelining needs in VRG’s Resflex Candidate Manager System
Within the timespan of one month, VRG was able to sort through over 800 applicants from the South American markets and provide GSK with 100+ interested candidates. This search resulted in a multitude of final interviews with the GSK hiring team. By partnering with VRG for sorting, sourcing, and pre-screening, GSK saved countless hours and sped up their South American recruiting process exponentially for one, flat fee.
